Rain Delay Today

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN

SPINY SEA URCHIN

HEAVENLY PINK FANG
I worked outside again today until finally the rain got the best of me.  I know there aren't many days left to work outside so I'm not wasting on minute.  I'm posting a couple of dayliles that are toothy.  I'm sure I've posted them before but I'm not tired of looking at them yet!  I hope you aren't either.

Weeds!

Now is the perfect time to get outside and get some of those weeds pulled.  If your weather is anything like ours in zone 5 this is a great time to remove many pesky weeds.  The ground is not frozen and it's nice to be outside this time of year.  There are many weeds that are perennial and are just waiting to be bigger and better next year.  I won the battle today over many of those bad fellows.  No bugs or wind or heat, it was perfect out today.

Mystery "brown daylily"

These are the same daylily but may look different because of the lighting.  It's a very good grower and almost becomes more of a dark purple later in the season.  I am posting this so someone can help me identify it.
Good luck

getting closer to spring!

Just looking at this picture makes me feel happy.  I was very bad about writing down the name of each flower when I took pictures and promise to do better next year.  I could not even tell you who this is, so sorry.    You are welcome to enjoy it's beauty any time you would like!!!  Enjoy
