Reckamp-Klehm

I've been collecting the daylilies of Roy Klehm and Brother Charles Reckamp for the last two years.   Their daylilies have a certain "glow" that is unmistakable.  Once you've seen it you will be able to pick their daylilies out anywhere.  I am going to post a few that I've taken pictures of .  I haven't been able to get pictures of all of mine because they're so new to my garden.  If you google these names you will be able to read some very interesting information, not to mention see beautiful pictures!

Need a boat!

I am not one of those people who complain about the rain.  I just don't, I've always loved a rainy day.  I am now changing my ways and must complain.  Complain to who?  No one seems to listen.  Today my tractor and I were out trying to do a little gardening in between the mists and actual downpours.  There is so much water in the daylily field that if you try and dig anything out the empty hole fills with water.  It's just not that much fun.  Now we have flash flood warnings, it's a bit scary.  I'm going to post some pictures from my yard when I worked in it daily.   These pictures are before the Daylily Farm came my way.  I do think they show how you can mix lots of different plants for a very pleasing effect.  I love the cottage garden look.
This one is Hearts of Fire and grew in my yard before the Daylily Farm.  I think you can see it in the next picture

Orange one might be Paprika Velvet, I always thought it was so bright and pretty

Perfect gardening weather, finally!

 I started putting the "Spacecoast"
dayliles all  in one row last fall.  I know you will enjoy seeing them growing like this.  It makes it much easier to compare them.

I hope to see you this summer!  You can  also visit my website.

Stars in the Mist

Stars in the MIst

Some of these pictures you may have already seen.  It's getting to be a very long winter!

I hope to get some of these potted up for sale this year.

This is a rose that grows in my yard and now I seem to have lost the tag!

Artemio is a great increasing daylily and oh so pretty.  I can't wait to see it bloom again this year.
