The name of this one is Angels in the Mist but really they're in an old cart!

I had a group coming out last summer so I cut a few dayliles for a bouquet.

I love orange, I think I see Light Forbes and one Primal Scream.

If you want to see pictures of  daylilies that are ready for sale this summer  you can visit my website at daylilyfans.com/roth

Take care of the flying flowers!

This was taken in the summer, I had never seen a baby cardinal before.

The mother was keeping a watchful eye over this sweet baby.

One of my favorite non flying flowers is Hap Sandy Ellis.

This one is a mystery today!
My intention today for writing this blog was just to remind everyone that it's going to get very cold and you might want to refill your bird feeders.  I also want to suggest that you give them water.  I have a plastic water dish with an internal heater (for outside dogs) that doesn't allow the water to freeze.  This works great for the birds they use it all day long.  That's it for today, I also want to remind you about my website, DaylilyFans.com/roth/  Thanks, and have a great day, Theresa

We are now one day closer to spring!  Even though it's cold and wintery outside it's still an exciting time for gardeners.  I spend hours checking out seed catalogs for all of the seeds that I want to sow and grow.  Most of the seeds I order are pumpkins and gourds and other vegetables.  I love seeds.   To place that tiny speck in the ground and then to see the first bit of green, well to me that is a miracle.  It happens every year, and yet I am always still  amazed.  I can't wait to introduce my grandson to this springtime ritual, as soon as he learns to walk!   If you have never planted seeds try it this year, go and enjoy a seed catalog or two and you might just get hooked.    If you want to check out my daylilies you can go to DaylilyFans.com/roth/
