Mystery or Romance?

572

someday I hope I can figure out the name of #572

I have this narrowed down, it is so beautiful in person and sets great pods, I refer to it as Big Red.

One of my illusive doubles.

This flower actually looks plastic it's so thick.

I only have a few of this one.  When it bloomed I couldn't believe how beautiful it was.

This sweet little thing has the wrong tag with it, now I will have to find the real summer wine.  I don't know what this is yet but I have a few leads.  It is a small plant and loves to bloom.  It will be perfect for a fairy or rock garden.   Enjoy the day, spring is getting closer!

Okay it is winter now!

I was going to post non daylily pictures today of flowers that bloomed later in the season that most of my garden visitors may have missed.  I couldn't help myself from adding a daylily!  Such a pretty little thing

Winter?

No these are not daylilies!  I like looking at hosta in the winter also.  Love them

Rain Delay Today

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN

SPINY SEA URCHIN

HEAVENLY PINK FANG
I worked outside again today until finally the rain got the best of me.  I know there aren't many days left to work outside so I'm not wasting on minute.  I'm posting a couple of dayliles that are toothy.  I'm sure I've posted them before but I'm not tired of looking at them yet!  I hope you aren't either.

Weeds!

Now is the perfect time to get outside and get some of those weeds pulled.  If your weather is anything like ours in zone 5 this is a great time to remove many pesky weeds.  The ground is not frozen and it's nice to be outside this time of year.  There are many weeds that are perennial and are just waiting to be bigger and better next year.  I won the battle today over many of those bad fellows.  No bugs or wind or heat, it was perfect out today.

Mystery "brown daylily"

These are the same daylily but may look different because of the lighting.  It's a very good grower and almost becomes more of a dark purple later in the season.  I am posting this so someone can help me identify it.
Good luck
